Tretton sings the blues

crymeariver.jpgJack Tretton, president of Sony Computer Entertainment America is playing the pity card.  Apparently, he thinks that being the leader in the last-gen console race (read: PS2 obliterating the competition) makes the expectations for the PS3 “unrealistic”.

Of course, he says nothing about Krazy Ken and Kaz touting the Cell Processor + Blu-ray being the second-coming in order to create and promote these massive expectations.  And besides that, why would consumers have high expectations for a $600 product?  Hmm…I wonder…

But who cares about that stuff…poor Sony!  I say give them a do-over.
